What is a Learning Health System?
Learning Health Systems
Also known as value generating health systems, high performing health systems, or simply the four betters: Better Health, Better Care, Better Value, and Better Teams for Saskatchewan people, a learning health system (LHS) is an approach to health systems that blends data, research evidence and healthcare operations to improve population health, equity, experiences in healthcare, workforce sustainability and affordability.
LHSs lead to improvements in the healthcare system by enhancing evidence-based practices. SCPOR works directly with the health system, health system researchers, and end0users to support LHSs in Saskatchewan.
