SCPOR will support two Patient-Oriented Research Learning Health System Projects in 2022. Individuals and teams of Patient Partners, Clinicians/Health Care Providers, Decision Makers and Researchers and are invited to review the application guide (below) and the information that follows to see if this opportunity is right for you!

The two Patient-Oriented Research Learning Health System projects selected to receive support will be able to access up to $900,000 of in-kind supports, $60,000 of trainee support and $10,000 in monetary funding over a two year period. (Click here for a list of available in-kind supports.) Each team will be able to request in-kind support equivalent to four full time employees to join their project team and contribute to the activities where they have appropriate expertise.
Six projects have been selected through the Expression of Interest phase.
These successful projects will receive support through the Stakeholder Engagement Phase and the Application Development Phase:
Prince Albert Indigenous Mental Health and Wellness Programming —Dori Gaudet

Supporting the Mental Health of People Living with Long COVID — Donna Goodridge
Impacts of Therapy Dog Visits with Adult Emergency Department Patients — Colleen Dell
A Community led Culturally Responsive Mental health and Addictions program — Mamata Pandey
Long-term mental health and addictions support after acquired brain injury — Cameron Mang

Each project team will consist of four Co-Principal Investigators (Co-PI), including someone from each of the following categories: Patient Partner, Clinician/Health Care Provider, Decision Maker and Researcher.
