SCPOR’s PEADA awards give researchers a head start to help them engage patient partners
PEADA (Patient Engagement Application Development Award) was developed to support research teams in engaging Patient Partners in the grant development phase of their research. This funding supported teams to meaningfully engage Patient Partners on the research team from the outset, so that they could assist in the development of the research plan, help identify the research priorities and establish desired outcomes for the project.
As SCPOR progresses to a new phase in its grant, we will re-evaluate the PEADA program, and determine its sustainability. Until that time, PEADA funding for new applications will be unavailable. If you have questions or would like additional information, please contact Michelle Flowers at mflowers@hqc.ca.
