The Saskatchewan Centre for Patient-Oriented Research (SCPOR) is excited to announce our next Meet and Eat Event. The event will feature a presentation by Dr. Audrey Zucker-Levin, Faculty in the School of Rehabilitation Science at the University of Saskatchewan.

The presentation will discuss, “Using Patient Perspectives to Improve Amputee Care in Saskatchewan”

Facing an amputation can be a nerve wracking and scary experience for many people. The continuum of care is for amputation is complex. Managing this continuum to optimize care is often problematic. In response, Dr. Zucker-Levin has worked with individuals with lived experience to determine how to better involve patients in their care and to address deficits of the system.

This discussion will feature perspectives of a researcher, a SCPOR trainee and individuals with lived experience.
